Personally, the impact of DiSC was more than I would've imagined to begin with. I initially thought this wouldn't do much for me and that I didn't need to change myself. As time went on, and I had more workshops, I realised how much I needed to work on myself, and certain situations with those who are of a different style to me. It really helped when I actively spoke with someone during the workshop who was a CS and I was an ID.

We had one situation and we explained what each of us would do in this situation, and in this context, it was for conflict. Generally, I applied this a lot in my personal life and felt it helped me a lot - with relationships, friendships & those closest to me also realised how differently I was handling situations.
